Polish & Refine

Microdermabrasion

Remove dead skin, clear oils and toxins, reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.

What It Is

Professional-Grade Physical Exfoliation

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that uses a diamond-tipped handpiece to mechanically exfoliate the outermost layer of dead skin cells, while simultaneous suction removes the debris, excess oils, and surface toxins.

The result is immediately visible — smoother, more refined skin with a noticeably improved texture and a healthy, natural glow. By removing the dull buildup that accumulates daily, microdermabrasion also allows your skincare products to penetrate more effectively, amplifying the results of your entire homecare routine.

It's one of the most popular, versatile maintenance treatments at Face to Face Spa — suitable for most skin types with zero downtime and deeply satisfying, immediate results.

How It Works

4-Step Treatment Process

1

Prep & Cleanse

Skin is thoroughly cleansed to remove all makeup, sunscreen, and surface debris.

2

Diamond Exfoliation

Diamond-tip handpiece glides over skin, abrading dead cells with precision and control.

3

Vacuum Extraction

Simultaneous suction removes exfoliated cells, oils, toxins, and stimulates circulation.

4

Serum & SPF

Freshly exfoliated skin receives a targeted serum infusion and protective SPF finish.

Benefits

What You'll See & Feel

Smoother Skin Texture

Removes the bumpy, rough outer layer for an immediately silky-smooth feel and refined complexion.

Cleared Pores & Oils

Suction extracts excess sebum and superficial debris from pores, reducing congestion and blackheads.

Brighter Complexion

Removing the dull outer layer of dead skin instantly reveals the fresher, more luminous skin beneath.

Enhanced Product Absorption

Serums and moisturizers penetrate up to 50% more effectively on freshly exfoliated skin.

Improved Circulation

Vacuum suction stimulates blood flow, contributing to a natural, healthy-looking flush and glow.

Zero Downtime

Mild redness for up to 1 hour is typical — most clients apply makeup and resume activities immediately.

Common Questions

Microdermabrasion FAQs

No — they're different techniques. Microdermabrasion uses a diamond-tip abrasive device with vacuum suction for mechanical exfoliation. Dermaplaning uses a surgical-grade blade to remove peach fuzz (vellus hair) and dead skin cells. Both deliver smoother skin but through different mechanisms. Many clients combine both for the ultimate skin-prep treatment.
Every 2–4 weeks is ideal for maintaining smooth, clear skin. Skin cell turnover occurs approximately every 28 days, so monthly treatments align perfectly with your skin's natural renewal cycle. Many of our membership clients include microdermabrasion as their regular maintenance treatment.
Microdermabrasion can be adjusted in intensity for sensitive skin. We use lighter passes and gentler suction settings for reactive skin types. If you have rosacea or very sensitive skin, we may recommend a gentler exfoliation option like an enzyme facial — we'll assess your skin at your consultation.
Yes — but time it right. We recommend scheduling your treatment 5–7 days before your event so any mild redness resolves completely and your skin has time to reveal its full, glowing results. Avoid scheduling within 24 hours of a major event.
A single microdermabrasion session starts at $115 for the face. Neck and décolleté add-ons are available. Members receive discounted pricing. Packages of 3 or 6 sessions are available at further reduced rates — ask our front desk team for current promotions.
